Photoshop applications help

I just installed the CS5 Design Standard and everytime  I try to open Photoshop it says apllication componenets missing from application directory and that I must reinstall the application. I tried that once and nothing changed.

What do I do?

    Is it a MAC machine?

    This error points to permission issues where either configuration data could not be written to specific directories or the registry and the progrm does not know where to find things or actually some components were never written to disk. Verify that you install everything with administrative privileges and also run as admin the first tiem you launch the app, then investigate those permission issues.

    I have the same error appearing on my elements 9 photoshop, however I installed the elements premier 9 at the same time and do not have this error.
