Photoshop CC App has permanent 'waiting...' status

I have an iMac MF886B/A. I've been trying to download the trial version of photoshop cc (2015) from Creative Cloud  Apps but it seems to be totally static and just says 'waiting...'. Can someone help me with this?

Hi,

Quit the creative cloud application and Try closing the following processes from the activity monitor .

Then reboot you machine , open creative cloud and try again .

Processes:-

  • Creative Cloud
  • Adobe CEF Helper
  • Adobe Desktop Service
  • AdobeIPCBroker
  • Adobe Installer
  • AdobeUpdateService
  • AdobeServiceInstaller
  • CreativeCloud(URIHandler)
  • AAM Updates Notifier
  • CCLibrary
  • node
  • CoreSync
