Photoshop CC closes as soon as it opens

I recently purchased Adobe Photoshop CC, but every time I try to execute the app it simply closes straight back down. No error messages and I don't know where to find any logs

I've tried reinstalling the app

I've tried using the Adobe CC cleaner and reinstalling, but no success.

Any ideas?

Running Win 7 x64

    Hi KaneSama2k3,

    When you launch Photoshop, do you see any splash screen coming up?

    Did you encounter any errors during install?

    Please try any 3rd party softwares / antivirus program you are using that might be interfering with the program.

    Try launching the app as 'Adminsitrator' and check.

    For launch issues the log file to be checked is 'PDAPP.LOG'. You can find the file in the 'temp' folder.

    Greetings

    Yes, I see the splash screen

    No I don't see any errors during install

    I have tried disabling MSE and this made no difference

    I tried running as an administrator again without success

    The only failures I can see in the log are to do with Proxy errors...:

    It seems to me that the licensing of the app is failing.

    Please check : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

    Disable authentication proxy servers.

    If your computer is behind an authorization proxy server, disable it. For instructions, consult your network administrator or your proxy server documentation.

    Check firewall settings.

    If your computer is behind a firewall, make sure that the firewall is not blockingactivate.adobe.com through ports 80 and 443.

    For instructions on allowing access to activate.adobe.com, consult your network administrator or your home network’s firewall documentation.
