I own PS Cs5. I had it on my MacBook Pro and rendered it useless when I updated the OS!! I have an older iMac I would like to install it on so I can use it but can't find a link to download and install it!! I don't want to subscribe to the creative cloud since I am not a big user of the program. Help!

You should use the original installation disks you received at purchase.  I say this because I'm not certain if your license will work with a generic installer.  But you can try it.  Be sure to follow the very important instructions or it won't work.

NOTE:  Legacy CS installers won't work on Sierra, High Sierra or Mojave without terminal workarounds.  See below for details.

Hope that helps.

The original purchase was an online download from Adobe through techsoup.org for our nonprofit

You're using legacy software at your own risk because it's discontinued & unsupported since 2017.

I vaguely remember that generic installers don't work with educational or volume licenses. So it will depend on what type of license you have.

When you buy a program via download you should always copy your install file(s) to an external device as a backup

Adobe no longer offers a direct link to that VERY OLD program

I do not know how far back this process will go, but try this link
-NOTE that you will have to search the site for your specific download
Direct Download Links https://prodesigntools.com/tag/ddl MAY help
-you MUST do what it says in Note: Very Important Instructions
-https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2015-direct-download-links.html#download-instructions
-the prodesign links go directly to Adobe's file server, so this process will
--only work until Adobe completely removes the old version(s) from the server
.
IF/When you do have a download, be sure to copy it to AT LEAST one external device
-since Adobe does sometimes remove old versions from the server
-a usb flash drive or external hard drive, or write to a DVD
-plus a text file containing your serial number if you have a serial number program
