Photoshop CS 6 will not run on windows XP

I deployed the entire software package (created with CCP launcher) from cloud connect on a couple of XP SP3 workstations. I can start all applications except Photoshop cs6. It shows a message box on my windows xp that i need windows 7 to run it. Why? I thougt that CS 6 was supported on XP. I had a licensed photoshop cs 6 standalone package that worked. Is it a different version? Is there a workaround?

Correct. The PS 13.1.1/ 13.0.4 updates do no longer support XP.

Nobody can know without exact system information or otehr details. The long and short of it is that you are probably missing some system DLLs like .NET 1.1 or an MSVC runtime or that the graphics hardware may not be up to snuff and there are problems with the driver.

If it was a dll or msvc i should find an error in the eventlog. The only thing i got was a message box saying i need windows 7 to run is.

My Xp sp3 workstations have all the critical and recommended patches. Besides i already run photoshop cs 6 on this machines. The only difference is that i downloaded this version from cloud connect. I assume its a newer version, but still cs 6 (13.x)
