My laptop has finally bit the dust.

How do I install Photoshop CS4 on my new machine without having been able to deactivate Photoshop on my old machine?

CS1, CS2, CS3 and CS4 activation servers are dead & gone.  Legacy Creative Suite is discontinued & unsupported.  Creative Suite is no longer sold by any vendor, retailer or country.

New computers and operating systems need modern software.  CS will never work on Catalina, Big Sur or Monterey.  Nor will it be tested on Win 11.

Creative Cloud Photography Plan (approx $10/month for 12 months). Includes the following:
- Photoshop CC and Photoshop on iPad
- Lightroom on desktop, mobile and the web
- Lightroom Classic
- Portfolio website + hosting
- Spark with premium features
- Bridge
- 20 GB cloud storage (upgradable to 1 TB).

Beware of fake Adobe reps who may contact you privately offering to sell you software or take control of your computer. It's a scam, run away! Real Adobe employees will never reach out via Outlook, Yahoo, Gmail or Skype.

Hi

You're allowed two activations, so if CS4 was only activated once you should be fine, otherwise you'll need to contact Adobe Customer Care to have your activation count reset.
