Photoshop CS4 quits after accepting licensing agreement - Mac OSX Maverick

Yesterday I installed the Catalina update on my mac and then realized that my version of photoshop (CS4) isn't compatible. I downgraded back to Maverick and was able to install photoshop again from my external, but now when I try to open it I get prompted to accept the licensing agreement, which then closes the program. Repeat x1000. Any solutions I've found addressing this are either oriented at Windows users or didn't work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Correct answer Jeff Arola

You need to use the photoshop cs4 installer to reinstall.

Adobe puts too much stuff scattered all around the hard drive to copy from backup.

Very very difficult to install CS4 properly on Mavericks, even if it can be run if you've migrated systems. You may need to go MUCH further back. I imagine Adobe would prefer you to subscribe to Creative Cloud though.
