Photoshop CS5 download file won't install in Mac -- "“Install.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image."

When attempting to install downloaded Photoshop_12_LS1.dmg, an error message "“Install.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image." This has occurred over multiple downloads of the dmg.  How to fix that, please?
