I incorrectly uninstalled Photoshop CS5 and upon trying to reinstall it, it will not download.  I downloaded CS5 extended from Adobe and it does not take the installation numbers and wants me to buy it again.  HELP!!

Be sure to ONLY ask for activation support to adjust your activation count

Serial number and activation support (non-Cloud) https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2041990

Mac or Windows and exactly which version of the operating system?

what a fiascow, I had a problem with my main Pc so as per normal I deactivated my copy of cs5 before re-installing windows.  And no joy in re-installing CS5. Went to help and spent approx 1 hour on the phone before telling me that the server I was on had been retired and there was no way to get access to reset the count. all he could offer me was 3 months free and then £9,99 amonth. I am an OAP and do not have the resources to pay for this or the need for such a solution with so little use of CS5 except when i take pictures of my grandchildren. When retiring the server was no solution given for re-installing?? I look forward to recieving comments !!

the server for user (ie, you) deactivation still is running.  the server used by adobe support to reset activation counts no long works.

that doesn't help you unless there's a chance you actually did not deactvate your cs5 before trying to reinstall, the computer used for the older working cs5 is still accessible and has unchanged hardware (reinstalling the os doesn't require deactivation/reactivation), you have a prayer.  but from your description something else is unstated or incorrect.
