Photoshop CS5 Extended Student/Teacher installation keeps failing

I'm trying to install Photoshop CS5 Extended Student/Teacher on my son's new computer. Installation keeps failing after about 30% with an Exit code 6 error. Tried all online help tips without success. Help!

Please see Errors "Exit Code 6" and "Exit Code 7" installing Adobe Creative Cloud, CS6, and CS5.5
