Photoshop CS5 update fails to apply

Hi Jeff,

I am still having issues, it keeps trying to update and says it has failed to do so. Please can you help

    nik97256754 please make sure you are applying the updates by downloading them directly from Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh . The automatic update for Creative Suite 5 will result in download errors similar to the one currently posted.

    Hi Jeff,

    I have done this an it doesn't download instead it freezes and says PDAPP is not responding. Am I doing something wrong? I have done all the steps suggested but still can't get it to download properly. My MacOS is version 10.13.2
