Question

Photoshop CS6 activation got messed up when I lost my work computer

I've had Photoshop CS6 for years, and I've had it registered on a home computer and on a work computer. Due to circumstances, I lost the work computer, and was unable to deactivate the Photoshop CS6 on it. I got a replacement computer at work, and re-installed it on it, and activated it. Everything seemed to be fine.

Then later, I found out that my home computer, has deactivated the Photoshop CS6. When I try to insert the same serial I've been using for years, it claims the serial number has been revoked.

The only thing I can figure is that the two machines I'm allowed to use Photoshop CS6 on, has been changed, so instead of my new work computer, and my existing home computer, it somehow selected my new work computer, and my old work computer. Leaving me unable to activate Photoshop CS6 on my home computer.

The problem is, when I log into my Adobe account, it also doesn't show that this is a product that I own. I don't remember if I activated it or if Adobe actively removes items from your account if their activation "logic" doesn't believe you own it.

This is a legit key that I purchased digitally.

Are there steps I can follow to get the activation back on the proper 2 computers that I'm working on, and not on my old work computer, which seems to be preventing me from activating on my home machine? I really didn't want to call and wait on a support call if at all possible, but will if that's the only way to get this problem resolved.

Thanks for any help or direction someone can give me, to get this problem resolved.

If somrone else got your old work computer and has been using that CS6, maybe that has led to your being blocked. Maybe your workplace transferred the license to them, so you no longer have the right to use.

This is an Adobe user forum site You are not dealing with Adobe support hers.  You need to deal with Adobe Customer support. Only Adobe authorize employees can access, update and correct Adobe Data bases involved with product activation.
