Photoshop CS6 product key has been revoked

Did you buy Ps CS6 directly from Adobe?

If not where did you buy it from?

What was the cost of Ps CS6 when you bought it?

Was it an Upgrade or the Full version?

So here is the deal. Before CS6 became part of the Subscription model it was sold as a Stand alone perpetual licensed software. Some people bought or somehow got ahold of Corp/Enterprise licenses and then Sold copies of it for a reduced price with a serial number (License Key) that worked at the time it was being sold. All of those licenses, Serial Numbers, have been Retired and Revoked.

So unless you bought a Retail version, either Upgrade or Full version Directly from adobe or from an Authorised Adobe Software Reseller (IE Not From eBay or some Fly by night website, here today gone tomorrow, for a greatly reduced price) your use of that Adobe software has ended.

Be thankful you got the use out of it that you did.

Mac Migration and Time Machine DO NOT WORK properly with Adobe program activations due to hidden registration files that are not included when Migration or Time Machine make their copies... you must do a fresh install

If you did do a fresh install, some other ideas that may explain

At one time Adobe did not do a very good job of keeping track of OEM and volume licenses... they have, over the past year, started to work on tracking down licenses that should have never been sold to individuals. If you did not buy from Adobe or a valid dealer (such as direct from Amazon but NOT from someone using Amazon as their store front) you may have inadvertently purchased a serial number that you should not have
