Photoshop CS6 vs Yosemite: conflict

After upgrading to Yosemite, my tried-and-true Photoshop CS would not open.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012)

Operating system 10.10.5

Reinstalled Photoshop; the download is 13.0.0. Will not open.

Update to 13.0.6 will not install; this is the error message.

Adobe Photoshop 13.0.6

Installation failed. Error Code: U44M2P7

Please advise.

I have no interest in looking under the hood of my Mac, but it looks like I have no choice.

Where do I find the installation log and what do I do when I find it?
