bonjour,

Merci d'avance

Hello,

I just changed my computer. I was on Windows 7 (and Photoshop worked fine). I am on Windows 11 and the system refuses to install Photoshop elements. Reason: "you must have Internet Explorer version 4 or later".

Can you tell me how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance

This version may not run at all, as it is extremely old. You are talking about Photoshop Elements maybe version 2 or 3 that is 24 years old. I would use the chat feature on the Adobe site to see if you are eligible for upgrade pricing with a product that old. And even if you are not, consider purchasing to the latest version of Photoshop Elements.

Because your version is so old, it's not just a matter of getting the software to work. I would imagine your original computer is likely not running anymore. What you are doing is like putting a classic car part into a Tesla. It would take modifications to many different components and systems to make this one classic component work. If you can find a used computer or an emulator to run Windows 2000/ME, you may get it to run, but otherwise, what you are trying to do is likely not possible leaving you with options to either upgrade or consider alternatives to accomplish your needs.
