Photoshop Elements 10 download slow

I just bought Photoshop Elements 10 today and it has been downloading for almost 3 hours. It was almost done, then it started all over again. Is this normal?

    No it is not.  Do you receive any type of error message?  Are you downloading the trial or the purchased version?

    Yes, Jeff. I've tried with Akami and regular file download with the purchased version. With Akami, it almost finishes and then just automatically restarts. With the file download, I get a "failed" message. I talked to customer service and they suggested that I download the trial and then upgrade to the full version using my serial number. The trial has been downloading for almost 4 hours. It says it is "extracting" now. I am not very hopeful. What would you suggest I do?

    Are you downloading under a pots line, a DSL line, cable modem? What OS are you running? Do you have anything running that could interfere with the download?
