Photoshop Elements 12 download

This shouldn't be this hard.  Click on the Akami download and get a screen with two links on it.  One ending in 'z' and the other ending in 'exe'.  Click on the 'z" link and it downloads for 20 minutes.  Then click on the "exe" and get the following message:

"The file archive part of Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 is missing.  You need all parts in the same folder to extract Adobe Photoshop Elements 12. Please download all parts."

Not sure where to go from here.  Any thoughts?

Thanks.  Z

    Hi zamric,

Make sure you have downloaded both the files to the same folder.

The .exe file is an extractor used to extract the compressed files in .7z file required for installing the software.

Try right clicking the file and "Save to" the same folder as the .7z file.

Alternatively you can try downloading it from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-12-direct-download-links-premiere.html

But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

    Hi Rave.

Thanks for getting back to me on this.

I went to the page with the two links ".z" and ".exe" and tried right

clicking on the ".exe" file. There is a Save As selection but not a Save

To selection unfortunately. This instillation is infinitely more difficult

than when I downloaded Elements 8. Frankly I am good with applications but

system stuff is incomprehensible to me. If the instillation doesn't go to a

wizard that does all the work I am lost.

Is there someone I can actually talk to help me with this? I have already

spent an extra $30 on WinZip so a little extra to get these two programs

loaded is not a problem. I will say that it chaps me a little that

something that I thought would cost $119.99 is probably going to end up

costing me $200 after Adobe help gets through with me. They have been at

this for a long time and it would seem an instillation on a Lenovo laptop

running Windows 7 would be a snap. Plus I have wasted half a day on this

silly thing and was hoping to be up and running shortly after I purchased

    it yesterday at 1:30pm. Ugh.

    Thanks again.
