Log file can not be extracted from .gz file using winzip.

Bobd74009258, I would recommend you view the updates to your public forum discussion in your web browser.  This will allow you to access any requested links and will be much easier for you to follow than through your e-mail inbox.  Clicking on the link to View the Full Discussion will allow you to view the discussion in the default web browser.

If this is a new computer then Photoshop Elements 14 should have installed without error.  Did you transfer any files from your old computer?

As a next step please remove any installed Adobe software using the Apps and Features Control Panel.  Once all Adobe software is removed you can then download and run the CC Cleaner Tool from Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems .  Please make sure you run the Adobe uninstallers first and do not skip to downloading and running the CC Cleaner Tool.

Bobd74009258, did you discover any error messages or have you been unsuccessful with opening the gzip file?  What operating system are you installing Photoshop Elements 14 on?  Are you experiencing any other problems besides the inability to install Photoshop Elements 14 or decompress gzip files using the operating system?

For information on how to locate and interpret the installation log see Troubleshoot install using logs in Photoshop Elements .

Bobd74009258, are you able to successfully decompress other files with Winzip? Are there any other programs or functions which are not working properly on the Windows 10 computer?  Is this a new computer or are you reinstalling Photoshop Elements 14?
