Photoshop Elements 14 stopped working after installing Windows 10

After installing Windows 10 Adobe Photoshop Elements 14.1 will freeze ("The program has stopped working. Close program"). I had this problem when I purchased Photoshop Elements 14 six months ago and I downgraded to Windows 7 after finding out Win 10 was not compatible yet, but I though this was already solved by now, since in Adobe's web site include Win 10 among the systems supported.

Any idea of how to solve this?

    DE-activate and uninstall and then install and activate is the only idea I have
