Photoshop Elements 2020 & Premiere Elements 2020. I bought them, I have the installers but can no longer install them

Is 2020 really that old? If I bought a product that I don’t have to download Adobe should allow the install.

I was considering sampling other Adobe products but I’ll never consider any future Adobe software if this cannot be rectified.

After coming here for the first time and now reading so many with issues, I’m dissappointed.

Thanks for posting, Drew.

I appreciate your long-term usage of Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2020. What is preventing you from installing the software? You mentioned you have the installers? Are you receiving an error message during the installation process, Drew?

Please see https://adobe.ly/4eEdy0X for information on how to manage any remaining activations for Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2020.

If you need a fresh copy of the installation files, see https://adobe.ly/49604rf for instructions on downloading them from your account, Drew.

Please update this discussion with the text of any errors you are receiving, Drew, and I look forward to your update. ^JW

6-year-old software on a new computer. What could possibly go wrong?

Let’s start with compatibility & remaining activations.

  1. PS Elements 2020 was built to run on Windows 8 or 8.1. It’s not officially supported on Win11 which didn’t exist in 2020.  Do you still have your Windows 8 computer?

  2. Do you have remaining activations available for installing on a new device? If not, you’ll need to deactivate from an old device first before you can install on a new one.

For next generation support on Win11+, see product details below.

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/system-requirements.html

Hope that helps.
