Photoshop Elements 7 won't accept my registration number

I have a successful download and successful installation. I can see the PSE7 work space in the edit mode, so I'm positive the installation is successful. But when I type in my valid registration number a box comes up saying it's not valid.

So far I have had no successful help from tech support.
