Photoshop Elements 9 License Install error

I am trying to install my licensed Photoshop Elements 9 on my new Mac and am getting an error "Install can't be opened. You should eject the disk image." I've contacted apple and they said it's on the Adobe end and to contact them but this is the only option I can find for help.  Does anyone know how to fix the issue?  I've tried to delete and reinstall already and get the same error.
