Photoshop Elements vs. Photoshop CC

I'm watching a video on how to do scrapbooking on Photoshop Elements 12.  What is the difference between Photoshop Elements and Photoshop CC?  Do I already have everything I need with CC or does Elements offer different uses?

Elements is a Cut Down and maybe easier to use version of Photoshop. Not as many feature.

If you have the Full PS you don't need PS Elements except it might be easier to use and understand for what you are doing.

Thank you so much. I kind of figured by looking at it that was the case.
Thanks again!

Keep in mind that Elements is a pay-once-own-forever purchase. Photoshop CC is only available via subscription.

For scrapbooking, Elements will probably offer almost everything you need.
