    for ps:

your pc serial number won't work with a mac installer.  there's no work-around other than to swap with a 3rd party or pay $10/mo for a lr and cc subscription that allows installs on macs and pcs (with one subscription) and allows you to use the most recent ps and lr.

    for lr:

you might have a cross-platform (ie, mac license) for lr 4.  you can expect some problems when trying to install older software onto new mac os'es so the minimum you should try, if a cc subscription isn't feasible, is to allow installation of programs from unidentified developers (http://mac-how-to.wonderhowto.com/how-to/open-third-party-apps-from-unidentified-developers-mac-os-x-0158095/)

    Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.
