Photoshop extended CS6 activation hangs

Hi,

I have a problem activating PS CS6 Extended on a new laptop.

I correctly registered the product in 2012 in my adobe account (it is still listed).

I successfully deactivated PS CS6 extended on my old laptop.

I installed PS CS6 Extended on my new laptop.

When starting PS CS6 extended on my new laptop, a window 'Creative Cloud Photography' pops up with the message 'please wait a moment' ('Bitte einen Augenblick warten...').

But this moment never ends .....

What can I do to get PS CS6 extended working again?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I tried both suggestions, however without result.

I checked my process list on the laptop and found some CS6 x86 processes running. However, I only installed CS6 64bit on my laptop. Therefore I uninstalled CS6 (64bit). Then I installed the complete CS6 suite with serial number.

After doing these actions, Photoshop started normally. It was already activated.

I have no real idea what caused my problems. Maybe only installing CS6 64bit might be a reason.

Anyway, my problem is now solved!

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10
-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window
-and/or select Run as Administrator to assign FULL Windows permissions
    -also https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/create-local-administrator-account-windows.html
