photoshop fails to install on new imac

Hi

 

I have just purchased my first apple iMac - so I'm not sure what the issue is, but Photoshop fails to install.  I've tried half a dozen times.  The Creative Cloud app installs fine, but Photoshop won't and it's doing my head in.

 

Help pls 🙂

you probably have to install rosetta 2 (esp, if you have ventura and see error 183 when installing the current ps); https://osxdaily.com/2020/12/04/how-install-rosetta-2-apple-silicon-mac/

 

you can also install the previous ps version.
