Hi. I'm ready to buy Adobe Photoshop but I faced a problem. I use Linux (Ubuntu 13.10 64bit) and PS is not available for Linux. Don't tell me to go to Windows, i can't invest money in that for pain. I'm happy with my Linux just need PS.

i have switched from win to linux..for security...because for me, linux is superior to win !

so...with gimp+rawtherapee, i can do the same things than with windows+adobe!

rawtherapee is better than acr !!!

there is also krita with 16bit tiff support !!!!

Well we spend lots of money in games (Steam). many buy non-free softwares in Linux. I myself bought some games from steam for Linux platform.

One Reason why people buy Windows and Mac OS is that there are large quantities of software availble for them.

Not many companies are interested to create software for Linux, as there are so few users (relatively).  And how many of them would be willing to actually spend money for software?
