Photoshop not compatible! Need help!!

Hello,

I just downloaded Photoshop today by purchasing the subscription. However, it says that all Adobe Creative Cloud apps are not compatible with my computer, hence I could not use any of the functions.

My laptop has a Windows 10 system (64 digit) and in theory it should work. Is it possible to install an older version of Photoshop so that I could use it? Or any other methods? Thank you!

If you only have 8 GB free on your hard drive, that is the issue.

Clear space on your hard drive, at least 40-50GB and more if possible.

Run Windows Update and install all of the available updates from Microsoft.

    Try again with CC.

You need Windows 10 with latest updates.

Which release version of Win10 do you have?

Go to Win search bar and type winver > select run command.

Thank you for telling us that you are using Windows 10 build 10240. This was the very first release of Windows 10, from 2015. It hasn't been supported for 5 years. You would need to get up to date, but I agree that if you have only 8GB free you will get nowhere with Photoshop. You need 10 times that to run properly and smoothly.

I am not sure how you can still be running Windows 10240, since for me it updates automatically and this can't be turned off! (Just getting up to date would like need more than 8GB free space too!)

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).

    To find your Windows version
click the 'window pane' in the lower left corner
click the 'gear' aka settings on the left in the new screen
click system in the new screen
    click about on the left

Thank you! Could I install the 2018 or 2019 version of Photoshop if its system requirement is lower?
