Question

Photoshop says 900 minutes to install?

Hi There,

I'm trying to install Photoshop. The installation got upto 3%, now the only thing changing is the estimated download time, which is currently at 929 minutes after about half an hour.

I had a similar issue when upgrading to El Capitan, but my Macbook got there in the end.

Does anyone know what causes this? I don't want to waste all day waiting if it isn't going to install.

Thanks

usually a hanging help file.

open activity monitor and terminate adobe help.

Thanks.

I terminated 'adobeinstallhelp' but the estimated time is still increasing and still stuck on 3%

I noticed that in the activity monitor there is a 'Setup' with the adobe logo that says not responding. Could that be the problem?

yes, but when you terminate that, it will terminate your installation.  you'll have to do that if you can't find another help process to terminate.

if you can't find another help process, terminate your installation.

empty your temp folder

run the cleaner per Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

restart your computer

retry installing.
