Photoshop stopped working and now can't download CC desk app or any applications

I have successfully been using CC Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom for several years. Suddenly, Photoshop quit working correctly and the desk top app quit loading. I tried all the trouble shooting tips and nothing worked. So I uninstalled the desktop app and Photoshop and am trying to reload them. The CC app starts to initialize and but immediately stalls at 1% and nothing ever happens. I tried the live chat to no avail (constantly too busy).  I really need help with this ASAP as I use Photoshop every day in my business.  Can anyone help me with this issue? Thank you, Cindy

    Cwiltse, do you receive any specific errors when reinstalling the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application?  What operating system are you reinstalling on?  Finally, what else happened on the computer at the same time as you were no longer able to open Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, or the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application?

    No, I did not receive any error messages. Just a message that the app was taking too long to load and to restart my computer and try again. I finally got it uninstalled though and after several tries, was able to reload it. It seems to be working fine now. When it was installing, it seemed to be trying to put it on a portable hard drive I had connected and not my main hard drive. Thank you for trying to help. I have no idea what I could have done to cause the problem in the first place. One day it worked, the next day it didn't. Very weird. Hopefully it won't happen again!
