Photoshop Update Error U44M1P7
What to do?
Uninstalling and reinstalling is not an option, too many DRM plug-ins etc. I have to contact several every time I move computers and I do not feel like doing that for Adobe's DRM sake.
I also have had the pleasure of deactivating and reinstalling at Adobe's behest over the years only to be told that I had already installed the program I had paid all that money for more than twice when at that time I had it installed effectively on zero computers.
In any even since nothing has changed on this computer with regard to PS other than Adobe's updates reinstalling will likely only fail at the same current update. Why bother?
With Adobe pushing out updates to subscribers it is there problem to make sure things work, not blame the end user.
An hour on chat with support farmed out to the clueless was utterly useless.
Anyone know how to solve this? There is post on this forum from January 2015 from an Adobe MVP writing there is no solution as Adobe had not got back to him: that's the Adobe I have known since PS 7. I am still hacked about how long Adobe ignored major incompatibilities with ATI video cards.
Its not like there is a viable competitor to PS out there . . .
