That is a Microsoft problem... Go to the Search bar at the top of http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/ to find and re-install the C runtime, or for ALL Windows help

I followed your instructions but I still got a response that said "Windows update standalone instaler The update is not compadible with your computer.".

What version of Windows are you running? How to tell:

 

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/see-which-version-of-windows-10-you-have-12d35019-4da9-0cb1-ba47-f8b031b712ad

 

Look under "Version."

 

Also check "System type" and make sure you are downloading the correct file for Microsoft Visual C++ (either x86 or x64).
