Portable system drives

I'm about to purchase cc and am wondering if its possible to do the two installations of cc on a macpro and a macbook pro.  I would then want to be able to transport the system drive on the macpro that has the cc installation back and forth from home studio to office studio, essentially sharing one of the installations between two macpros.  Given the fact that the cc installation is never on more than one mac pro at a time, wouldn't this constitute only one installation?  Or would this be considered a 3rd installation?

GF each time you connected the drive the software would detect the computer as a new installation.

I would recommend that you install the software on all three computers and then activate on the computers you wish to use the software on.  You can find more information regarding activating and deactivating at Activation & deactivation help - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html.
