Hello,

I want to publish an Adobe Portfolio but I don't want my best pictures hacked by visitors. How do I have to proceed?

Thank you

@pierre22113559wzfn,

There is no reliable way to prevent thieves who are intent on taking online images from your site.  But there are few ways you can deter them:

  • Watermark images heavily with your URL.
  • Use low res images online.

The other option is to purchase digital barcoding service to protect your copyright.  Digital watermarks are not visible to humans and tracks where images are being used.  There is a Digimarc plugin available for Photoshop.

Hope that helps.

Or do you mean - changed on your web site?

Do you mean taken and copied by "hacked"? If so, don't publish them on any web site. If it's on the web, it can be copied, shared, stolen, sold and hacked.

I actually meant "taken and copied" but, as you say, it will be the same on any site. I just hope that the quality of taken pictures won't be good enough for nice prints or files.

Thank you.
