Hey guys,

I just received an email that I beleive is a scam. The email address is adobe@adobeinfo.com

Just wanted to verify this before reporting it or updating.

Please update your desktop sync app

Hi Bruce,

Thank you for being an early user of Creative Cloud. If you've been using the preview release of Creative Cloud Connection, our desktop sync client, we have an update for you. We're upgrading our cloud storage platform, and the version 1.0 sync app will no longer be able to sync to Creative Cloud starting May 16, 2013.

To continue syncing your files without interruption, please take a moment update to the 1.0.5 release of Creative Cloud Connection preview. Here's how to get it:

  1. Sign in to your Creative Cloud account.
  2. Find Creative Cloud Connection preview (under Creative Tools) and select Download. Adobe Application Manager will open.
  3. Find Creative Cloud Connection and select update.

You can find helpful discussions and answers to questions in the Creative Cloud Connection user forum.

Thanks and enjoy,

The Creative Cloud Team

P.S. Many new features are coming to Creative Cloud. A good place to see them all is the Day 1 Keynote video from last's weeks MAX conference. You can watch it here.

Hi Silkrooster,

I can confirm that this email is legit and not some kind of scam. An email was sent out due to the importance of installing the update, given the service will not continue to work after May 16th unless you've installed the updated 1.05 version of Creative Cloud Connection.

David,

I have installed the update and am not able to connect to the Creative Cloud nor are the files available on the CC website:

I have had problems with intermittent connectivity for the last several days, now I've installed the update and still no functionality.  I've followed the recommended troubleshooting; turning synch off and then on again and still nothing.  Any insights as to when this issue will be fixed or additional troubleshooting steps?

Thank You.
