Question

PP won't open on macOS Sierra Mobile Accounts

Hello everyone. Our college's fall semester is beginning in a few short days and while testing this afternoon I found that student accounts (which are set up as mobile accounts via macOS Server and Profile Manager) are opening ALL of the Adobe CC 2017 programs except for Premiere Pro 2017 and After Effects 2017. These two programs bounce in the dock for a second and never open.

The administrator account and my account are both local accounts on these iMacs so the past few weeks of me installing the new version of CC in all of our MacLabs I didn't notice the issue until I used a student test account today. If I remove the test student mobile account from the machine and created it as a local user, both programs open without issue, just like on my account and the administrator account.

Has anyone come across this issue? I've done some searching but haven't found anything helpful and i'm a little stressed about it at the moment. Could it be a permissions issue? Any help or direction would be massively appreciated. Thank you.

Still hoping for a response.

I just need to know what direction to go to get mobile user accounts on our Macs to open Premiere Pro and After Effects 2017. Local accounts work fine. Unfortunately all of our students have mobile accounts.

Running the new version of macOS Sierra Server, on brand new iMacs running Sierra and our Adobe Licenses are all Device Licenses.
