Prematurely expired trial period

I downloaded a trial version of Adobe Illustrator this morning (using IE on my Windows 7 work computer). All seemed to be going well until I tried opening the file after installation and was informed that my trial period had expired. To my knowledge no one has

downloaded a previous trial version onto this computer.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful.

I have to admit that the complete lack of online help (save chatting which I don't have time for) has made resolving this issue rather more difficult that it should be.

Cheers

Trial periods end prematurely for various reasons. Several reasons include changes to your system time, or modifications to the product installation or launch files (that is, permissions changes).

If your trial ends prematurely, try downloading a new trial on a different computer

I'm experiencing the exact same problem. Installed the trial version of Illustrator and when I try to open, it says the trial has expired. I have definitely not installed any version of Illustrator before on this computer.
