Running Windows 8 on brand new computer.  Just downloaded and installed Premier Pro CC last evening - worked fine.  This am, Adobe App manager notified update available so I elected to download and install it.  Now App Manager is hung - update is at 14.3% completion and will not finish.  What should I do?

Update:  cancelled and restarted update. On 2nd try, update progressed further to 23% but then errored out.  Error log message was

Adobe Premiere Pro CC 7.0.1 Update

Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7

Romsinha, TYVM for your reply.   Very much appreicated. You can mark this one 'solved'

For benefit of anyone interested, I solved my problem by following the option given on the page you supplied to deinstall-redownload and reinstall Premier CC.  I then downloaded the 7.0.1 update as a zip file from this page http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=98&platform=Windows .  I'm not sure what was happening, but when the download was being handled by either the CC desktop client or the Adobe Update Manager, the payload file containing the update was being corrupted somehow.  Not sure if that is an Adobe issue--I have other CC products that applied updates OK from within CC desktop client-- or just caused by poor connection quality at my location, but by downloading the Premier Pro 7.0.1 update separately as I did, I got a uncorrupted copy of the update.
