Premiere Elements 10 + Photoshop Elements 10

Question

I have purchased Premiere Elements10 bundled with Photoshop Elements 10 for my Mac Pro Version 10.5.8 with 2.8Ghz Quad-Core Inte lXeon Processor.

I first tried to install the software from disk using Disk 3 of 5 but my Mac wouldn't open it. I talked online to the Helpdesk and got nowhere the final advice being to download it from the internet which I did. 7 hours later when apparently all was done I tried to open Premiere Elements editor from the icon on the desktop and it came up with the message 'The Application Premiere Elements 10 quit unexpectedly' - with the options to ignore - report - relaunch. I have done all three and it still comes up with the error message. The only way I can gain access is to open the Organiser an get in that way.

I am new to the Mac and it is almost certainly my fault but so far I have lost 2 days trying to get up and running. Can anybody please help. David Lewis

Hi JeffNo I didn't but eventually telephone for support from India and an hourlater we got it sorted. Although I don't seem to have a Welcome page butnever mind I guess I can manage without that.Thank you very much for responding, great to hear from you - I am surethere will be more cries for help.RegardsDavid

After you downloaded the trials did you receive any error messages while trying to install?
