Problem Downloading Captivate

Downloading from here:

http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?promoid=DJDUI&product=captivate&loc=en

Running OS X 10.8.5

8gb memory

178GB Free SSD

Akamai gets hung on Running Package Scripts for several minutes then returns, "Installation Failed Contact Software Manufacturer"

Tried downloading files directly from Akamai Download Manager Installer (file 1 of 1) to no avail - some quick script ran at bottom of box but no download initiated*

Did all of this in both Safari 6.1.1 and Firefox 26.0

Stumped...any thoughts

99Athena99 I just tested the download under Mac OS 10.9.1 in Safari 7.0.1 and was able to download the Akamai Download Manager and initiate the download successfully.

The direct link also worked for me successfully.  You may want to look at your security software to see if it may be blocking the download.  Alternately you can download the installation files on another computer and transfer the installation files via USB.
