Problem installing cs4 upgrade

In my pc (windows 7 64 bit) there is installed Adobe Design Premium CS3, now I try to install Adobe CS4 upgrade but it don't fint on the system Adobe cs3 and if I put the serial number of CS3 compares an error (serial number doesn't match)

What Can I do?

    Is your CS3 also the Italian version? If not, this won't work. Other than that standard answer: Call support by phone.
