Problem re-downloading CS 5.5

Hello,

I am trying to put by remaining install of CS 5.5 on my desktop but it has been nothing but difficult.  After finally locating the download in the my orders section, I tried the Akamai netsession one but it won't let me use any folder on my computer to save the file including the desktop.  So I tried the alternative download which does in fact download but will not run because it says that it can't extract the files and that I need to download it again.  I have tried downloading it in every browser that I have and have done so multiple times but nothing works.  Hopefully there is a simple fix that I am just overlooking.  Thanks in advance for your help!

You can try downloading it from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html

But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

Hey Rave,

Thanks for the speedy response.  I just tried this download but it is still giving me the same message when I try to install.  Exact phrasing: A problem occurred while extracting the archive.  Please try downloading the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 again. Also, I followed all the instructions on the page.
