Problem Removing Intel Versions on my New MacBook Pro

I am going to preface this with the statement that I would need things explained for a novice. I can use the software, the tech end of things is not my strength.

Yesterday, I bought a new Macbook Pro. I has an Apple M3 Pro chip. It was explained to me at the Apple store that I would have to Migrate everything from my old (2015) Macbook pro, but then uninstall the Adobe software so that the silicon versions can be downloaded. Which is, of course, where it becomes a problem.

I have Muse CC (2018) on the computer and for the life of me it wont come off, even when I use the cleaner. The Uninstall app is red and asks for an update, which of course it cannot do. Annoyingly, I never really used it, I downloaded it to try it out and well, forgot about it. You can see on the attachment the message I get when I double click the Uninstall. Press OK, nothing happens...just an acknowledgement. Press Learn More and I get the article posted on the screen shot.

How do I get rid of MUSE?

Also, in trying to do research on this, I found some other people who maybe had extra (hidden) Adobe (Intel) files that kept them from downloading the Silicon version of the software. What should I do for this, because when I check the Library under the Finder>Go>Library I can see that there are Adobe files there. Some are blatant, but I wonder if some are not identifiable by name. How do I get rid of these?

I have files downloaded to my computer from migrations that were created in Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Photoshop, would these files in the library have anything to do with that?

Any help on this would be soooo appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Wipe the new computer and start over. When you use Migration Assistant, DO NOT migrate over any applications. Install everything fresh from scratch. That way you will get Apple Silicon versions wherever available.

With a Mac you don't necessarily need to use the uninstallers. If you drag the Muse app to the trash that will remove it. There will be some preferences in your system, but the amount of space they use is negligible. If you really wanted to track those down we can provide instructions.

With regards to the Library, there are multiple Libraries on the Mac. What you are referencing is the system library and there is also the user library (Go --> Go To Folder --> ~/Library ).

If you are really worried about the old installation, run the cleaner tool and just start over with a fresh installation of the apps ( https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html ).

you should reset your new computer to prior to the migration.  then uninstall and clean your old computer of adobe files. then migrate to your new computer.

I am actually fine with that, but....

Well, I would think that the problems of removing would be the same. The "Install" icon for Muse is the same on my original laptop. How do I removed Muse and any old files? Is it easier to do on a Macbook still using the Intel version? Would you know?

use the cc desktop to uninstall from your old computer (but be aware that you may not be able to install muse on your new computer)
