Problem Starting Premier Pro CS3 on Windows XP SP2. Crashes just as toolbar appears. HELP!!

Installed Premier Pro CS3 back onto my old laptop, licensed correctly etc... but will not open the program past the loading box. Quickly flashes up top menu bar and then vanishes. help please as i need it tonight!!

    Hello,

    ..i've got the same problem.

    Holding down the Buttons (shift-ctrl-alt) doesn't help. New installation also not. Premiere begins to start and after the loading box, the menu bar is shown for just less a second and dissappears. (Windows 7, SP1).

    Please, is there any other help?

    reset your preferences by holding down shift-ctrl-alt while starting pr.  if done correctly you'll see a confirmatory dialog.
