problem with licence

Question

I bought license on adobe illustrator cs6 in e-mail version. I tried to registration thia product on my adobe id account. Unfortunately i got an answer that this number was registration earlier. Person who bought me this licence said that is normal because this version of illustrator is withdrawn from sale but if i download illustrator and i will enter the serial number everything will be ok. Is it possible? Is it true that is impossible to registration illustrator cs6 now? Thank you for the answer.

If you did not buy from Adobe or an authorized dealer (such as Amazon) you MAY have been cheated

You need to contact Adobe chat (this open forum is mostly other users) to find out if you have a legal serial number
