Problem with reinstalling CS6

I just installed a new SSD as C:  I am trying to reinstall CS6.  Says I do not have a qualifying product.  Reinstalled CS3 and the CS6 installation says CS3 is not a qualifying product!  I have serial numbers for CS3 and CS6.  What do I try next?  CS3 CS6 are still installed on the old HDD on the computer, but apparently there is no easy way to move them to the new SSD.

you should be ok using a cs6 upgrade from last year with your cs3.

typically, you would not need to install cs3 first.  you could start your install of the cs6 upgrade and you should be prompted for both the cs3 and cs6 serial numbers.  if you're certain you've entered those correctly (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html) and they are not recognized, contact adobe support:  http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

if your cs6 upgrade was a recent (this year) purchase, cs3 is not an upgradeable product.  you need cs5 or cs5.5.

you may need to contact adobe support to see if you can return your upgrade:  http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

or, if you purchased prior to 2014, you may be able to use the cs6 upgrade but will probably still need to contact support:  http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

    Thanks,

Yes CS6 was upgraded last year. I had CS3 on the computer

and CS6 installed just fine and in fact is still on the old HDD (but I

cant run it from there since the clean installation of Vist64 on the new

SSD wont let me). I will try the link to support when I get a chance.

Having problems with other programs making the migration to the new SSD.

I own all my programs, so piracy is not an issue.

    Thanks again
