problem with uninstalling illustrator

Hello, so I had illustrator CS6 installed on my computer but apparently I didn't have much more space on my HDD so I wanted to get rid of it on my computer.

So I uninstalled it BUT at the time i didn't check anything, right now i need illustrator back so i upgraded to illustrator CC.

The problem is that there was a problem with the previous uninstalling that I didn't see. Apparently all the files weren't removed and now that I try to install illustrator CC it doesn't work because of the remaining files.

So now even when uninstalling the program through windows control panel it doesn't work and gives me an error.

So I've tried to remove every single file from illustrator of my computer, the following folders were cleaned : appdata, temps, progrm files, program files x86, temp AND I even cleaned the entire registry from adobe illustrator files

HOWEVER, there are still remaining files apparently which I haven't been able to locate anywhere on my disk, i've also tried adobe cleaner tool but it did nothing.

So my question is,          is there any way to remove it entirely except from wiping out all data from my HDD ??????

BTW I get the following error when i try to uninstall with the control panel uninstaller:

Uninstall Failed

Your uninstallation encountered errors.
