Problem with Upgrading from Flash 8 to CS5.5

I just bought and downloaded the Adobe Flash CS5.5 Upgrade version, and I'm upgrading from Macromedia Flash 8 Professional.

I also just installed Flash 8 on my computer today, and entered the (legitimate) serial number, too. I had purchased that back when it was out, and I'm hoping to finally upgrade today so I don't have to use anymore trials.

When Installing the Upgrade, it said it could not find compatible software. How do I get it to recognize my Flash 8?

I'm running on a up-to-date PC with Windows 7.

I also assumed restarting the computer would work, but did not.

Knickolaus when I view our upgrade information it is showing Macromedia Flash Professional or Basic 8 should be accepted when you enter the serial number for the eligible product.

I actually did talk with a chat representative just moments after posting, and the issue was resolved.
