Problems Formatting Files

First: My cloud files used to be stored in chronological order -- last first. Not their randomized. How do I go back to last first.

 
Second, now there's a new first column for my stored files, suggesting different actions I can take. This squeezes the space for the files into a narrow second column that is only half-visible. How do I eliminate the first column?
