Problems installing trial on Windows 8

I am on Windows 8, and I want to install a trial. The download works, but I can't run the app - nothing happens, even if I run it as administrator. Any ideas why that is?

I was trying to get Muse. I walked away for a while, and it said I didn't have Air, so I downloaded that. Now that won't run either. I'm not sure what's supposed to happen after I allow it to make changes to my computer, but it would appear its "nothing". I've had similar problems with other downloads because of Windows 8. Can someone please tell me what to do? Thanks.

The Specs of Muse state that it currently doesn`t run under Windows 8
